The software could be better

Garmin GPS systems are great for certain purposes, but not for all. You need to know your needs before you buy. The built in software should work well for most outdoor activities.

If you are hoping it will double as a great driving GPS, don’t think too fast.

You might have to spend more money with Garmin if you are looking to get more maps, etc. Garmin software can be spendy.

Highly sensitive

As the title suggests for this model, it’s highly sensitive. If that is what you need most, this GPS should work well.

If you are looking for a fantastic hiking GPS, why not check out the DeLorme Earthmate PN-40 Waterproof Hiking GPS? The PN-40 from Delorme is probably better equipped out of the box for hiking.

So like I said, know your purposes.
